The cross, our confession.

New life, our calling.

Mission

We confess Christ crucified and resurrected for the world, and are called to live crucified and resurrected lives for the sake of our friends and our enemies.

Practice

We follow the calling of God in these simple practices

EUCHARIST

Each Sunday afternoon, we confess our sin, receive his pardon, hear his word of mercy, and receive him in the Lord's supper. Come worship with us!

PRAYER

We have daily and seasonal rhythms of prayer, drawing near to God through Christ, who prays for us even when we don't know how. Come pray with us!

DINNER AND DISCUSSION

We get together monthly to share a meal together and discuss formative issues in life and culture.  Bring some wine and come eat with us!

ADVOCACY

We are present with our neighbors' needs and suffering, advocating for the marginalized, even as Jesus has done for us. Come serve with us!

We are not simply to bandage the wounds of victims beneath the wheels of injustice.
We are to drive a spoke into the wheel itself.

We confess the Nicene Creed, and we pray to posture this confession in our world, namely, that Almighty God is "for us."  We gladly try to treat all other matters as peripheral.

NICENE CREED

We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible;

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Only-begotten, Begotten of the Father before all ages, Light of Light, Very God of Very God, Begotten, not made; of one essence with the Father, by whom all things were made:

Who for humanity and for our salvation came down from heaven, and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and was made man;
And was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried;
And the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures;
And ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of the Father;
And He shall come again with glory to judge the living and the dead,
Whose kingdom shall have no end.

And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, and Giver of Life, Who proceeds from the Father, Who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified, Who spoke by the Prophets;

And we believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one Baptism for the remission of sins.
We look for the Resurrection of the dead,
And the Life of the age to come.
